As far as I know, there is nothing at all special about their product, and the only thing somewhat remarkable about their company is how it is completely wrapped up in fraud and exploitation. Probably how Egyptian Pharoahs ran the show back in the day, though.
http://www.timesofisrael.com/dead-sea-product-hawkers-skirt-law-decency/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-28655428949430650512016-07-22T08:55:39.083-04:002016-07-22T08:55:39.083-04:00Sounds to me like some frustrated manager is tryin...Sounds to me like some frustrated manager is trying to circumvent the official system by doing informational interviews, then handholding the person they choose through the official process. I've heard some horror stories about how the federal HR drones kick out any resume that doesn't pretty much paraphrase the job description, so the best candidates don't make it to the hiring manager, while some DC veteran who knows how to play the game gets through the process.KTnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-77304834934611001562016-07-21T17:08:27.739-04:002016-07-21T17:08:27.739-04:00WRT USGS job posting on C&E News-- my understa...WRT USGS job posting on C&E News-- my understanding for Gov jobs is that the offers for the job and for the interview need to be made through official channels. So the job posting for the job fair suggests it is more of an informational interview and not a job interview. The candidates will likely be asked to apply through USAJOBS.GOV.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-58823930612860169422016-07-21T16:34:13.937-04:002016-07-21T16:34:13.937-04:00I wonder if L’Oréal uses raw materials from the ...I wonder if L’Oréal uses raw materials from the Dead sea: I had an opportunity to visit there an guides promoted a local Kabutz/factory that makes products using minerals from there that are sold all over the world. My skin felt unusually smooth after mud bath and soaking in the salt enriched water. Supposedly the Egyptian Pharaohs and others used visit for the restorative powers. Great place to visit but with the regions tensions living there would be a struggle.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-77072569859211850332016-07-21T15:53:02.905-04:002016-07-21T15:53:02.905-04:00"We must not allow a mineshaft gap!" - D..."We must not allow a mineshaft gap!" - Dr. Strangelove

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybSzoLCCX-YOldnukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04791120442174416990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-60236463135024713502016-07-21T15:27:36.508-04:002016-07-21T15:27:36.508-04:00"Located 2km underground in the Vale Creighto..."Located 2km underground in the Vale Creighton mine, near Sudbury, Ontario"

Ouff, likely one of the worse 'views for your hood' i could imagine (tho DK ground level in Sudbury is better....tough place to move for temp position....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8QNLNRrKUM
biotechtoreadornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-10276265013088731832016-07-21T14:55:47.601-04:002016-07-21T14:55:47.601-04:00That's not the only big shaft at SNOLAB...remi...That's not the only big shaft at SNOLAB...reminding me of a story I heard about Huw Davies, where he was describing the catalyst for their 2016 Nature paper in a conversation, and asked, "have you seen how big DiBic (pronounced Die-Bick) is?" Let's just say that the conversation (with a young, female, ESL scientist) took a turn for the awkward.Middleschool Humornoreply@blogger.com
