Clogging with solids is obviously a big issue there. A bigger problem could be the jelly and sticky polymers as they would immobilize the moving pieces in those reactors.. <br /><br />Also, the big idea in flow chemistry is the high surface-to-volume ratio which is hard to maintain with the larger channels in these designs.<br /><br />In principle every engineering problem is a solvable and Bayer has built some interesting one-off reactors. I just wonder if that much dev money can be spent on this project.SJnoreply@blogger.com
