Use of either name would have almost certainly avoided the present confusion.Curt F.http://minglingken.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-77097241522594562832014-01-19T19:11:32.614-05:002014-01-19T19:11:32.614-05:00I'd love to take a whack at the layers-upon-la...I'd love to take a whack at the layers-upon-layers of tax and liability shielding that is the purpose of far too many "corporations". Remember, corporations (in contrast to businesses) are creations of government and cannot exist within private contracts. Corporations should only be allowed to exist or even acknowledged to the extent that they serve the public. Next in line should be subsidiaries. Next in line should be any sister corporations spun off in the last five years. Next in line should be the firm's executives and board members, who should have their last ten year's worth of pay exceeding minimum wage on the table (with interest at the firm's cost of capital and with a $35 late fee for good measure). Way down at the far end of the line should be creditors, pensioners, and the public.

Ogemaniachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02396797613368443908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-88692881207012362332014-01-17T16:30:58.092-05:002014-01-17T16:30:58.092-05:00Love the Princess Bride reference.Love the Princess Bride reference.O+G Chemistnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8964719845369935777.post-79385158511540673092014-01-17T16:14:05.684-05:002014-01-17T16:14:05.684-05:00Ah yes, the little known 37-step Woodward-Corey-Fr...Ah yes, the little known 37-step Woodward-Corey-Freedom synthesis of 4-MCHM from methylclyclohexane and methanol.
