A list of small, useful things (links):
- As I mentioned before, Glen has a job!
- SeeArrOh on (among other things) colloidal lead being used as old-timey chemotherapy. Ahh, the old days, when men were men and dropped dead of heavy metal poisoning.
- All Things Metathesis has a nice post on RCM to produce cyclic alkenyl bromides.
- Th' Gaussling on old-school gold extraction.
- Overqualified for your current position? John Borchardt can help with that.
- Liberal Arts Chemistry spots someone doing some creative graphing.
- Synthetic Remarks spots a Tetrahedron mystery.
- Paul's back, and is dishing it out over FWS and As/P.
Am I missing something? Put it in the comments!
Have a good weekend!
Happy Father's Day, CJ! May I ask how you're celebrating with your wife and kids?
ReplyDeleteI and many of my former grad school colleagues have yet to experience the joys of parenting. This may sound pathetic, but economic and relationship uncertainties continue to discourage us from starting families. Misery already has plenty of company...

ReplyDeleteThank you very kindly! We're just going to spend some time with family and hang out, which is just my style.
Sorry to hear that the economy is affecting you in that manner. It's my sincere hope (and prayer) that the real world would not hinder those important decisions, but the economic data tell us different. Best wishes to you.
