BRSM Blog has suggested a chemistry graphical abstract contest. Below, my humble submission, in the style of Professor K.C. Nicolaou, on the glorious occasion of his birthday.
(Perhaps my style is unsubtle, but I was going for something that you might see on a T-shirt at the State Fair, you know?)

I don't know if you can beat ChemBlog or Synthetic Remark with that entry.

Yours is t-shirt worthy, though.
I suspect not. Adam's is actually pretty cool, and Freddy's, well, it's a much better version of the TOCROFL parody that I've done here.
DeleteI like the patriotic, militaristic theme of yours.
DeleteYeah, I really wanted to fit this A-10 Thunderbolt in there somehow: http://www.aviationsupermart.com/shared/images/AppleWood/TS-A10.jpg
DeleteCouldn't get it rotated.
Damn, MS Paint... ingenious.
ReplyDeleteYou could have used maitotoxin, but I guess the structure would not fit on a T-shirt!
ReplyDeletebut he hasn't synthesized Maitotoxin yet.
DeleteI heard that KCN was moving to Rice U in Houston. Anyone else hear anything along those lines?
ReplyDeleteI have a difficult time believing that, but I dunno.
DeleteHouston is so much nicer than La Jolla...
DeleteI would say the style was reflective of any Angewandte title page for one of KC's total syntheses! Commendations for continuity!
ReplyDelete@CJ: Dude, you totally have to check the graphical abstracts out at this site:
