Small, useful things (links):
- Another post in Russian by @orgchemby on Elsevier versus Sci-Hub.
- Best wishes to Materials Girl.
- Fascinating post by Ash stemming from the Reddit AMA with C&EN's Lisa Jarvis and Melody Bomgardner.
- A call for goggle reviews by Ruth.
- Don't forget the ChemWiki exists!
As always, if you have a chemistry blog to promote, send me a link to a post!
I LOVE Sci-Hub!!
ReplyDeleteDidn't want to mention it here, because I was too paranoid about Madeline Jacobs, etc.
If it weren't for Sci-Hub, then there is no way that I could currently be writing a real research proposal as an unemployed person. In addition to Sci-Hub, please also don't forget the Russian site of proxies, which can help if there is no direct connection: http://www.proxynova.com/proxy-server-list/country-ru/
In fact, the selection of journals which are accessible via Sci-Hub is greater than at the neighboring elite universities....
....I just wish that there was some way to get into either SciFinder or Reaxys...
