A few of the articles from this week's issue of Chemical and Engineering News:
- Cover: C&EN's ranking of the Top 50 global chemical companies for 2018 (by Alex Tullo)
- Great profile of Callery and their expansion plans (by Michael McCoy)
- "Who’s going to chemistry and chemical engineering graduate school in the US" (by Andrea Widener)
- Laura Howes profiles the Institute for Protein Design's David Baker
- Worthwhile podcast on lab safety (by Jyllian Kemsley and Matt Davenport)
- "US Congress takes up Scientific Integrity Act" (by Jeff Johnson)
- this bears watching, I think
- "Biohaven hobbled by contractor’s warning letter" (by Rick Mullin)
- supply chain manager's nightmare
I am fairly jaded here as although is an important topic the mention of US Congress (or lawyers in general) attempting to legislate anything dealing with Integrity makes me believe they will have to seek outside opinions on defining what that even means.
