Hee. A couple of months ago, we had some fun with science horoscopes on twitter. It's funny how similar they looked to these. Some things are just universal, I guess.
Ha! I actually do have group meeting today, but since I'm presenting I don't get to challenge anyone's mechanism. I'm not the golden child either, it's hard to tell if there is one because my PI treats us all with respect (very odd feeling compared to my grad PI).
Chemjobber: Sure! The fortune cookie would be great, or perhaps you can test your programming skills and design an app of the magic chemistry eightball. Or maybe lampoon generic inspirational office art...they're so stupid!
"It needs another column. Yes, that compound" "Saturday is a great day to work" "You did not grow crystals. Try again" "Tread softly past your boss's office"
looks like Blogger doesn't work with anonymous comments from Chrome browsers at the moment - works in Microsoft Edge, or from Chrome with a Blogger account - sorry! CJ 3/21/20
Are we all that obvious? My PI and I would get into "heated discussions" all the time!
ReplyDeleteThanks for advice ;-) (Scorpio)

ReplyDeleteChemjobber, when are you going to post a photoshopped misfortune cookie for organic chemists? Magic Eightball?

"Saturday is a great day to work"
"You did not grow crystals. Try again"
"Tread softly past your boss's office"
Confucius say, "Switch to methanol-methylene chloride eluent for better separation."
