Position Overview
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring our bio-based, sustainable chemical products meet all applicable national and international regulatory requirements—while supporting our mission to reduce reliance on petroleum-based materials. This position bridges compliance expertise with environmental stewardship, guiding products from development through commercialization.
You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining regulatory documentation, navigating global chemical regulations, managing product registrations, and working closely with R&D, manufacturing, and customers to bring innovative, sustainable solutions to market. Acting as both a compliance guardian and a sustainability champion, you will help ensure our products meet rigorous safety, performance, and environmental standards worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of regulatory affairs experience in the chemical industry, preferably industrial chemicals
- Strong knowledge of global chemical regulatory frameworks (REACH, TSCA, WHMIS, CLP, GHS, BfR, FDA, etc.)...
Valuable Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant scientific or regulatory discipline
- Experience in sustainability-related regulations (e.g., circular economy, product stewardship initiatives)
- Familiarity with international trade regulations affecting chemicals
