It's possible to disagree and be friends

I'm terribly amused by this video clip of Justices Breyer and Scalia having a friendly argument in front of the Senate about the concepts of a 'living Constitution' versus 'originalism.' Suffice it to say, it's nice to see two longtime colleagues be able to have their arguments in a civil, friendly and humorous manner.

Let's hear it for longtime colleagues who are friends but adversaries. It sets a good example for us all.

Have a good weekend.

  1. they are faking the civility for the cameras; behind the closed doors it is "yo mama" and "goat" in the same sentence.
