I wasn't aware that the Facebook messenger app existed, but I find the logo design rather evocative of something...

    It will become more clear if they incorporate an 88 into the design. The current one has two triangles, so perhaps it's an Illuminati trick.

    The colours aren't correct but my first impression was an attempt to design the mouth for a Halloween Jack-O-Lantern

looks like Blogger doesn't work with anonymous comments from Chrome browsers at the moment - works in Microsoft Edge, or from Chrome with a Blogger account - sorry! CJ 3/21/20
