The Gov Lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science, led by Prof. Nir S. Gov, is seeking a dedicated postdoctoral researcher. We are developing theoretical models, based on physics and mathematics, to describe and explain a variety of fundamental phenomena from life sciences. These include how cells migrate in our bodies, during development and cancer, to how decisions are made by a single brain and by animal collectives.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a PhD in physics/chemistry/math/computer science/engineering/biology who are passionate about advancing research in biological physics, to explain the physical principles underlying living-matter behavior.
