Best wishes to East Coast readers

...to all my East Coast readers, riding out Hurricane Sandy. Hope all is well, and that you and yours are safe. 

My one clever comment of the day: "Somewhere on the East Coast in a chemistry building, there's a foreign postdoc in the lab, wondering "Where is everybody?"

    Most NMRs are in the basement so not sure best place to be if flooding situation

    If they are like the postdocs I went to school with, they are probably like "Wimpy people! Just a little rain!" There was one tornado during my graduate car

    eer. All the rest of the group crowded at the window (with the PI). I remained at my hood, figuring I was safer a good 15ft from the windows...
