Daily Pump Trap: 2/21/12 edition


Good morning! Between February 16 and February 20, there were 117 new industrial positions posted on the ACS Careers website. Of these, 77 (66%) were posted by Kelly Scientific Resources.

BASF: They're at it again, with 3 more positions. One in North Carolina (agrochemicals) and 2 in Houston (oil-related.)

Fremont, CA: ChemTrace is looking for a Ph.D. analytical chemist with 2-3 years experience. Salary range posted.

And if you want to leave the bench...: Ropes and Gray LLC is a law firm -- they're looking for Ph.D. chemists to become technical advisors. Starts at 112.5k... (wow!)

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: SABIC is hiring, with 3 positions posted.

ACS Career Fair watch: Still just 6 positions.

Oh, Kelly: Call center positions? Seriously, Kelly?

    1. Actually that sounds like an amazing opportunity. I just wonder if it's really open to anyone or another Harvard- or Columbia-only need apply.

  2. Hey Chemjobber, if you take a look on BASF's actual jobs site http://jobs.basf.us you will see there are HUNDREDS of openings in the United States of all levels from High-School up to PhD level upper management in a wide variety of fields.
