St. Louis, MO: The Food and Drug Administration would like to hire a Ph.D. chemist for a one-year position as a postdoctoral fellow. Experience "working with lasers and in the area of Raman spectroscopy and chemometric methods for spectral analysis" is desired.
Torrance, CA: Phenomenex wants a B.S. chemist to be a senior scientist for LC/LC/MS work; 3+ years experience desired.
Neenah, WI: Georgia Pacific wishes to hire a M.S./Ph.D. organic chemist for a position in tissue-based consumer products. Actually sounds interesting.
Cambridge, MA: Ahhh, you again. Millenium Takeda is announcing (after a hiatus of 2 or 3 years?) that they have multiple! positions! (sounds naughty) available.
The GP position sounds interesting, but for two things:
ReplyDelete1) GP is owned by Koch.
2) You have to live in Neenah.
A coworker once had to visit Neenah for business. The people he visited said they would take him out for the best Italian food in Neenah. They ended up at the Olive Garden.
I guess he took solace in the unlimited breadsticks.
1. Koch, so what? They are private entrepreneurs, and are free to believe anything they want and fund their causes as they see fit. It's not like they are pushing their (not 100% outlandish) opinions on employees.
Delete2. Green Bay is well within commuting distance.
