- I enjoyed reading Jyllian Kemsley's look at excipients in drug formulations -- interesting to see that once adulteration happens (i.e. melamine in protein products), manufacturers have to spend lots of money making sure that adulteration isn't happening. An unfortunate aspect of globalization?
- This letter to the editor asking what role American chemists had to play in the Cold War sounds... provocative.
- Looks like C&EN is going to be looking at the patent literature, which I think is helpful. (in Maureen Rouhi's column.)
