In honor of K.C. Nicolaou's birthday...

BRSM Blog has suggested a chemistry graphical abstract contest. Below, my humble submission, in the style of Professor K.C. Nicolaou, on the glorious occasion of his birthday.

(Perhaps my style is unsubtle, but I was going for something that you might see on a T-shirt at the State Fair, you know?)

  1. I don't know if you can beat ChemBlog or Synthetic Remark with that entry.

    1. I suspect not. Adam's is actually pretty cool, and Freddy's, well, it's a much better version of the TOCROFL parody that I've done here.

    3. Yeah, I really wanted to fit this A-10 Thunderbolt in there somehow: http://www.aviationsupermart.com/shared/images/AppleWood/TS-A10.jpg

      Couldn't get it rotated.

  2. You could have used maitotoxin, but I guess the structure would not fit on a T-shirt!

  4. I would say the style was reflective of any Angewandte title page for one of KC's total syntheses! Commendations for continuity!
