It's an analyst's week: Agilent has posted a position for an "expert applications chemist", with almost no identification of the actual position. I can't find it on their website either; maybe others will have more luck?
Salem, NH: AgaMatrix is looking for an associate/B.S. analytical chemist; blood glucose experience desired.
This is a test job: Test job, not a real job.
Southeastern states: Shimadzu has 3 more "field service engineer" openings, across the Southeast.
A broader look: Monster, Careerbuilder, Indeed and USAjobs.gov show (respectively) 184, 646, 2,301 and 17 positions for the search term "chemist." LinkedIn shows 104 positions for the job title "chemist", with 6 for "organic chemist", 16 for "analytical chemist" and 8 for "research chemist."
A test job to see how long you can go until you crack? Ah... but it's biological and I wanted to stay in chemistry for my next postdoc.
