As a reformed procrastinator I may appreciate Beth Haas' take on the Golden Rule but unfortunately working in Industry find it harder to accept and deal with constant tardiness or last minute efforts by co-workers. Because already working at a frenetic pace any time waste and delays in info transfer have an increased ripple impact on accomplishing objectives. A big problem is when Senior level people are the ones who are late since often no one willing to start without them.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand when people are late to meetings. It screams to me that they don't respect your time.
ReplyDeleteBeing late to one class/meeting is understandable. Being late to every class/meeting is disrespectful.
