  1. Elena Ceaușescu, the wife of Romanian dictator used to be a village girl who left the school at age 14. Once her husband became prominent party official in the new regime, she graduated on top of her class with PhD in polymer chemistry and produced long list of research publications and monographs and was put in charge of all science and technology in Romania... So as you can see, anything is possible with the right revolutionary attitude

  3. The DPRK news agency reported several chemical research groups have mysteriously vanished. At least one member of each group had expressed an interest in an unusual inorganic compound, KPOP. A cryptic note taped to one laboratory door read "Oppan Gangnam style".

DPRK security officials suspect they may have been abducted by PSY, the South Korean counterrevolutionary agency.

    2. His eyes are impervious to chemical spills and exploding glass shrapnel, obviously.

  5. If you want to make fun of the great synthesizer, than you can well expect to be hacked...it happened to Sony Pictures, it can happen to Chemjobber.

  6. He is actually furnishing field guidance on the proper preparation of His Porcine Majesty's lunch.

Get it wrong and you get snuffed with an anti-aircraft gun.

  8. What's really funny about this, is that unlike his father and grandfather, the fat guy in the picture, no matter how good of a synthetic chemist he is, doesn't seem to fully realize that his grasp on power is always tenuous and that the consequences for him losing that power mean being tortured and killed in a horrible way. :)

    1. He isn't likely to be killed - he will be turned into a LEGO character:
