1. HELPING CHEMISTS FIND JOBS IN A TOUGH MARKET. 2. TOWARDS A QUANTITATIVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE QUALITY OF THE CHEMISTRY JOB MARKET.
What's the job market like for chemists? Dude -- it's always bad.*
How bad is it? How the heck should I know? Quantifying the chemistry job market is what this blog is about. That, and helping chemists find jobs.

(*For the literal-minded, this is a joke. Mostly.)
Denmark could be fodder for a whole series of "I quit grad school in chemistry" horror stories.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that this came out coincident with the Baran/JinQuan race. Scott claims to have gotten to 170 mph+ in his Porsche. The speedometer for Baran topped out at 104 kilometers per hour (I assume kph since the race was in Germany).
ReplyDeleteHuh? I know the track is probably curvy, but 104 kph is highway speed (65 mph). I don't want to crash at 65 mph, but in a race it seems slow.
Delete170 mph, on the other hand....
