Some small useful things (links) that I like:
- Rich Apodaca links to the great table of top-selling pharmaceutical products by the Njardarson group. This table is a great inspiration for thinking about useful moieties and syntheses.
- Paul uses baseball cards to liven up an acknowledgement slide. Gotta say, I like his thinking. Me, I liked the early 90's Skybox cards, but I think I got swept up in the hype.
- Leigh points us to Mr. Ethanol. I think he's awfully cute.
- John shows us the secrets to getting people to pay for consulting.
- Adam gives us a really useful Wolfram|Alpha chemistry widget for stoichiometry tables.
- Sharon talks about the molecules within salsa. I'm a guacamole fella myself, but my Sunday dip had a lot of allicin in it.
- Th'Gaussling explains placer gold mining. I gotta be honest -- I can't get enough of this stuff.
CJ, regarding Chembark's cards, wouldn't be cool if we chemists were "Pokemon-ized" or "Magic-the-Card-Game-ized" (sorry for butchering the English language)? How many HP would you have and what would be your special abilities?
