Speaking of offset costs, colleague and I were discussing recently: if a research group levies funds through some alternative means to grants (private funding, kickstarter, bake sale), are those funds also subject to the same or similar indirect costs?
ReplyDeleteSame discussion in the group here. The University probably won't allow you to have alternative funding source, or they will take 50% as indirect as usual.
