Carbohydrate/analytical chemist wanted for Southeastern US company

Our recruiting friend Lisa is looking for another chemist in the Southeastern United States.

You: a Ph.D. chemist with 0-3 years experience in "[i]ndustrial or post-doctoral research experience (0-3 years) and previous experience with modification and analysis of sugars or starches and mass spectroscopy." Project management experience a must. Will participate in research towards "developing new technologies and new products in surgical adhesives, hemostatic agents and implantable biomaterials, and supports existing products and technologies."

Sounds like fun. E-mail Lisa at lcrawford -at- appleone/dot/com.

  2. No it's not. That company has no access to literature. No Scifinder. Analytical is QC-only. The primary scientists are all biologists over 45.
The regulatory environment is still in the stone age.
And senior management is more interested in acquisitions than supporting new research.
