1. HELPING CHEMISTS FIND JOBS IN A TOUGH MARKET. 2. TOWARDS A QUANTITATIVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE QUALITY OF THE CHEMISTRY JOB MARKET.
What's the job market like for chemists? Dude -- it's always bad.*
How bad is it? How the heck should I know? Quantifying the chemistry job market is what this blog is about. That, and helping chemists find jobs.

(*For the literal-minded, this is a joke. Mostly.)
It's a long way to run, though, if you get something in your eyes or are on fire.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd want to lose my eyes if I saw that out my window.
That looks really nice, and there are some plants inside. My caveat with these types of buildings and the first few floors, is that I hate it when people outside can observe me so easily. And here it's set up for people enjoying a stroll to just look at you while you're doing an extraction.
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't give for a view like that. I work in a windowless hole. If the price of sunlight is having people strolling past and watching me work all day...I'd take it!
ReplyDeleteWell, the windows are tinted and super reflective, so you'd have to stand there with your face against the glass to see anything on the inside. No worries about people looking in and stealing all of my great lab techniques.
